Delegates will learn how to turn raw data into actionable insights, which can drive data-driven decision-making.
Starting with the fundamentals of data, to ensure delegates understand the Data Language, Terms, Concepts and Data Management Disciplines, to appreciate the overall Data Ecosystem.
Covering the processes of Data Analytics, including defining stakeholder requirements and data sources, connecting, and manipulating, data modelling, profiling, validation and data quality, data analysis expressions, metrics and scorecards, data visualisation, storytelling, and report creation. We also cover governance and ethical considerations, re-enforcing the need to handle sensitive data responsibly.
A case study is used to provide hands-on practice, with exercises using Microsoft Excel or PowerBI.
